Saint Basil was born to a noble and religious family in the year 329. Four of his siblings are canonized as Catholic Saints, along with his mother (Emmelia), father (Basil the Elder), and grandmother (Macrina). He is the patron saint of hospital administrators. Feast day is January 2.
